Job Description Job DescriptionRegional real estate management firm has an excellent career opportunity for an energetic and dynamic individual to join our team as a residential Leasing Specialist in our New Jersey division.
In this role, you will be contributing to the success of the company, by being responsible for efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the Leasing and Marketing Process, while maintaining strong resident relations and most importantly, delivering exceptional Customer Service.
You will be working with a team of professionals to assist you in your role.
This position reports to the Community Manager.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible to procure and record new leads, prospects, applicants and tenants in order to reach/maintain 100% occupancy and establish a three (3) month waiting list.
Leasing Office Hours:
Varied depending on the property, weekends are required.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Report issues related to the property curb appeal to be maintained up to Company Standards.
Daily monitoring of all marketing material.
Daily review of available units.
Review rents quarterly with the operations team to ensure apartments are accurately priced.
Vocalize feedback given by prospects.
Daily lead report to include walk-ins and any incoming prospects.
Enter all walk ins and direct calls into a guest card and management software for follow up and tracking purposes.
Maintain waitlist, touch base with those prospects on the waitlist routinely to see if needs have changed or if they found an apartment.
Tours the property and apartments with prospects.
Provide prospects with pertinent information regarding the property and application process.
Make routine follow up calls to prospects who have shown interest.
Ensures accurate completion of rental applications.
Reviews applications for qualifying guidelines with exception of credit reports.
Coordination for timely delivery of Lease Agreements for approved applicants.
The Lease must be signed by the applicant within 48 hours.
Prepares move-in material and ensures is delivered in a timely manner to corporate office.
Performs move-in inspection prior to move in date and creates work orders assigned to Community Manager with open items to ensure that the apartment is delivered in Move-In Ready condition.
Performs Move-In inspection report with photos on the date of municates with team to ensure that possession is delivered to new Tenants successfully.
Maintains positive relationships with current tenants, understand that the Residential Leasing Agent is a representative of the property and company and be willing to offer help with any issues or questions from tenants and pletion of routinely reports as required by management.
Special projects as necessary.
Performs clerical duties including answering of telephone, mail, correspondences, mail, arranging meetings, fax transmittals, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Prior sales or Real Estate experience is preferred.
Excellent people, communication and organizational skills required Recommended Skills Coordinating Customer Service Dynamic Personality Passionate Property Management Real Estates Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
