- Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and management of the property - Conduct property tours and show available units to potential tenants - Assist with leasing activities, including processing applications, screening tenants, and preparing lease agreements - Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner - Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit refunds - Assist with rent collection and ensure timely payment from tenants - Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions and activities - Perform data entry tasks to update tenant information and maintain property databases - Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including online listings and social media campaigns - Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or related field preferred - Knowledge of property leasing procedures and best practices - Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant interaction - Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to property management - Ability to negotiate effectively with tenants, contractors, and vendors Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
