is the parent administration company of two 501(c)-3 nonprofit organizations, the New York Cardiac Center, Inc.
, and the Allied Educational Foundation, as well as managing a social club for retired union members.
We urgently seek a new office manager to oversee day-to-day operations for these family-run organizations.
Primary responsibilities include answering phone calls and addressing customer concerns, organizing monthly meetings, maintaining correspondence with stakeholders, and other managerial/administrative tasks as needed.
Must be able to work independently in a small office setting.
-Responsibilities- - Oversee and coordinate daily administrative activities - Handle front desk duties, (receiving packages, answering phone calls, addressing customer concerns) - Handle vendor management, including updating key stakeholders on current operations, and requesting updates/documentation from grantees.
-Process and deposit membership dues - Coordinate monthly meetings for the Allied Educational Foundation - Perform general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation -Experience- - Proven experience in office management or a similar role - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software - Excellent communication skills An ideal candidate for this role is a dedicated, independently motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
